Stierli Introduces New Compact, Mobile Roller Straightening Machine Series
Stierli-Bieger AG unveiled a new Roller Straightening Machine series for the metalworking industry at the recent the Blechexpo 2023 in Stuttgart.
The new RSM-series of straighteners can be used to effortlessly straighten flat parts in steel, copper or other metals after punching, laser or flame cutting. The robust design of this three-machine series – the RSM-80, RSM- 240 and RSM-500 – enables precise straightening in a matter of seconds. The RSMs are perfect for parts like fence pickets or bus bar with varying straightening and dimension capacities and weights. For example, the RSM- 80 handles parts up to 15mm thick and 80mm wide, while the RSM-240 straightens 15 mm parts with widths up to 240mm and the RSM 500 with widths up to 500mm.
The machine has nine hardened straightening rollers. Adjustment is simple via a digital display and the straightening speed can be precisely adjusted via the frequency converter. Rollers are also easily cleaned. The scale that falls off the flat steel falls directly into a drawer provided for this purpose during straightening.
The RSM machines are designed to be mobile machine and can easily be moved with a pallet jack to wherever the material to be straightened is located.
Stierli Bieger AG is a manufacturer of bending machines, turning devices, rotators, flange and roller straightening machines up to 500mm x 15 mm and horizontal straightening machines with a capacity of 8.5 to 800 tons.
