Stierli horizontal bending machines are designed to meet the needs of the shipbuilding industry – across the range of operations from small local shipyards and maintenance job shops to the builders of the largest military and commercial cargo ships. Along with the typical HP ship’s frame (also known as a Holland profile, HP frame, bulb plate or bulb flat), Stierli benders also accommodate L profiles and T profiles. With a central clamp system to hold the material in tooling, during the bending operation, Stierli benders are highly productive and compact.
